Westlake Holidays is the dream of Tim and Claire Hancock who moved from Reading, Berkshire in 2016 to escape the rat race and spend more quality time together.
After falling in love with the farm they took the plunge and relocated, bringing Tim’s parents along for the ride. The tranquillity of Devon life was soon too much for Claire’s parents to resist and it didn’t take long before early retirement called, and they moved nearby in 2017. With the team now complete, the hard work started, Westlake Holidays was born.
Holder’s barn was the first to be completed. After 18 months of hard graft the barn was finished in June 2019.
Priscilla Queen of Devon became the newest addition in May 2023 after a long 5 year process. She had to be completely stripped back to her frame and very sympathetically restored.
