Set in the beautiful mid Devon countryside, on the edge of Dartmoor. Holder’s Barn (sleeps 4) is a characterful detached barn conversion with countryside views and has been thoughtfully crafted by Tim and Claire’s (but mainly Tim’s) own hands and no attention to detail has been forgotten, a truly idyllic retreat.

This property enjoys a quiet farmland location, surrounded by green fields and benefits from lovely countryside walks close by on Dartmoor and Exmoor. The pretty villages of Winkleigh and Hatherleigh are just a short drive and offer shops and pubs.

 

Cyclists and walkers are well catered for in the area with the famous Tarka Trail within easy reach. North Devon offers sandy beaches and sheltered coves to explore.

 

The village of Iddesleigh is known as War Horse country as this is where Michael Morpurgo wrote the novel War Horse.  You will also be within easy reach of a riding stable, coarse fishing at Stafford Moor, RHS Rosemoor Gardens, The Big Sheep and The Milky Way.
